Infinite Nodra
Infinite Nodra Academy
Learn Infinite Nodra in 15 short videos, each around a minute and a half. You start with a simple patch that resizes a whole shoot for the client. Step by step you add a crop that finds the face, a basic grade and a film look, control the whole look with a single slider, retouch skin carefully, build your own blocks, turn a patch into a Photoshop panel and run an entire shoot at once. In the last part, an assistant builds a patch for you – with the same nodes you now know.
Every video uses real photos and the real app. New to Infinite Nodra? Start with the 10-minute introduction.

Plays via YouTube (Google) – nothing loads before your click. Watch on YouTube : Infinite Nodra – Photo editing as a recipe you can open, change and run again
The 10-minute introduction
Infinite Nodra is a Mac app built around a simple idea: an edit shouldn’t be a stack of things you did once. It should be a recipe you can open, change and run again whenever you want.
Basics & Look
1Your first patch
What a node is, how a cable carries the image from one node to the next, and how to export with one click.
2Crop that finds the face
A Smart Crop node finds the face by itself and builds the crop around it. The AI nodes run locally.
3A basic grade
Exposure, White Balance, Contrast and Vibrance – and why nothing is baked in: change any step at any time.
4A film look
RGB Curves, Split Toning and Film Grain turn the basic grade into a film look. The order of the nodes changes the result.
5One slider for the whole look
How a setting becomes an input, and how one number can steer several nodes at once.
6Colors that belong together
Color Wheel, Color Harmony and a Gradient Map: one dot on a wheel retunes a whole grade.
Masks & AI
7Treat the subject differently
Person Mask splits subject and backdrop into two branches; Refine Edge brings fine hair strands back.
8Depth of field after the shot
A Depth Map node estimates distance locally on your Mac, and Lens Blur uses it for soft, rounded bokeh.
9Skin, the careful way
Frequency Split, a Bilateral Filter and Frequency Merge – limited to the skin, so the pores survive.
Reuse & Deliver
10Build your own block
Package nodes into a reusable block with four sliders; one edit to the block reaches every patch that uses it.
11From patch to Photoshop panel
Show only the controls that matter and turn a patch into a plugin someone can install without Nodra.
12The whole shoot at once
Run the recipe on every frame of a shoot – the command line, the app and the plugin use the same engine.
13Edits that travel with the file
One file carries the picture and the recipe, with no sidecar file.
14A full color suite
Seventeen nodes from white balance to gamut compression, with a grade that follows your Photoshop selection.
15Let the assistant build it
An assistant builds a patch with exactly the same nodes you already know. Nothing is hidden.

Infinite Skin

Control Highlight and Shadow Exposure
When using the smoothing slider aggressively, the highlights and shadows often may get flatter as a result. Here are two ways to bring back the natural depth of the face.
Fine Lines and Blotchy Skin
You can also use the plugin for specific areas of major concern without having to do the entire face. Blotchy large areas and sharp small areas are in total contrast to each other, here is how the panel tackles both.

Let’s say you like the results across the skin but want to take just one particular area further in one way or another, this will show you how to have that additional layer of control.

If while using the panel, you find that the slider doesn’t load the results sometimes after moving it, here is why that happens and an easy way around it.

Sharpening
We’ve come up with a fantastic algorithm created alongside a master printer! It will ensure you have the perfect sharpening at your defined viewing distance! Or you can use our built in smart sharpen method as well.
Auto Select Action and Auto Select Tool
You have the option to automatically select a tool and preset with most buttons in the workflow! Also, run any action you want in combination for a world of possibilities. It is a brilliant way to save steps while working and it makes this panel truly Infinite!

A companion to the Create button, the User tab allows you to save multiple workflows, a selection of your own layers, running existing actions, or a mix of all of them! This includes color grading layers so you don’t even need to know how to make an action.
Migrating From Pratik’s Actions
If you use any of my personal actions as seen on The Retouching Series or other classes, this video will ensure all of my students can migrate from using the actions to the panel.
